Manassas Martial Arts opened their school in 1980 serving Prince William County, Virginia and surrounding communities for over 25 years. Manassas Martial Arts is committed to providing quality martial arts instruction to each and every student from kids to adults.

We offer classes in Tae Kwon Do for ages 4 & up, Hap Ki Do for ages 11 & up, and Combat Ju-Jitsu for ages 18 & up.  Trial memberships are available.  We do not have long term contracts but we do offer family discounts. All instructors, assistant instructors and black belts are World Tae Kwon Do Federation-certified in Tae Kwon Do and Korean Hap Ki Do Association-certified in Hap Ki Do. 

In addition to our regular instructors, we have 20 black belts who assist as needed and are always happy to answer questions and help fellow students.

Tae Kwon Do

Tae Kwon Do is an action philosophy, the Korean art of self-defense; however, it is much more than kicking and punching. It is designed as a non-violent art system of entire body practice and a way of life.  Through Tae Kwon Do, all practitioners benefit physically by developing good coordination and a strong body, and mentally by building self confidence, good judgment, and a sound mind.

Tae Kwon Do students must wear full protective gears for sparring. Gear is offered for sale at Manassas Martial Arts.  Sparring begins at the Yellow Belt rank.

Hap Ki Do

Hap Ki Do is a Korean Martial Art that stresses the development of the mind and body for practical self defense. This martial art is uniquely designed for students who would like to prepare themselves to handle real life adverse situations such as dealing with attackers by disarming weapons if necessary, using joint locks, throws and close up maneuvers.

Yoshitsume Combat Ju-Jitsu

Combat Ju-Jitsu is a stand up and ground submission art using all three levels of fighting: standing, kneeling, and on the ground.  The system comes from the Japanese traditional system of Hakkoryu Jujitsu. Using various throws, joint locks, and holds, one learns to bring an opponent into a total state of submission.

Group Self Defense

This class is a combination of arts focusing solely on street situations

Condensed Hapkido Certifications

Home Schooling

Are your children Home Schooled? 
We are proud to share that we now offer a Tae Kwon Do program geared for Home School students.  Students will learn self defense, discipline, and will improve physical fitness.

Classes meet from 1:00 - 1:50 PM
Ages 6 & up
Classes will be held Mondays and Wednesdays
Students will advance through the regular Tae Kwon Do ranks
(Available to new students only)

Day Class  Hapkido
Class meets Mondays and Wednesdays from Noon to 12:45
